ABOUT ABOUT

This year's Graduate Research Forum is taking place on Thursday, April 28, 2016, featuring the theme, It's About Time: Understanding the Past, Engaging the Present, & Creating the Future. It will include a variety of student oral presentations throughout the day and a poster reception in the late afternoon featuring a cash bar. It also includes a buffet lunch which features a panel discussion on What Comes Next: Perspectives on Post-Graduate Paths, featuring invited panelist Mark Fiegener, Ph.D., Project Officer at the National Science Foundation, and several UD panelists. Dr. Fiegener's work includes putting together the Annual Report on Doctorate Recipients from U.S. Universities, a national survey in which UD participates.

Please register no later than Monday, April 25, 2016!

Registration for the Forum costs $10, which will be refunded to you if you attend the following: one panel in each of the three concurrent sessions, and the lunch panel discussion. Please bring your UD ID card, since that is how we'll be keeping track of attendance! We will email those who qualify to have the fee returned after the event. We welcome you to participate in any of the events, but hopefully you can attend for the full day!

Parking is available and free in the parking lot for Clayton hall.

We will also be hosting a Food Drive for the Food Bank of Delaware! If you bring 3 or more non-perishable food items to donate, you will receive one beverage ticket for the poster reception. More details on the Food Bank of Delaware, and suggested items for donation, can be found on their website.

Additional details on all of the presentations are available on the Graduate Research Forum website.
